- Choose the healthy plants from nursery
- Keep the plants 2-3 days as such in shady area at your place.
- Sprinkle the water morning and evening.
- Always re-pot early morning or late evening.

- Wet the nursery bought plants before re-potting
- Cut the black nursery bag with clean knife carefully without disturbing the root or plant parts.
- Separate the plants with roots & mud with most care and place it on your prepared pot mix.
- Gently loose the soil adhere with the root by using your hand and place it in new pot / bag.
- Firmly cover the plant roots with pot mix and irrigate it.
- Keep the re-potted plants in a shady area atleast for a week to get the plant stable in your place.

Steps to re-pot the plants purchased from online
Always purchase the plants from your local nursery through direct visit. In inevitable situation, you can choose best online seller to purchase plants or seeds. Plants would be well covered and send as bareroot by most of the online sellers to avoid transport damage and to minimize the transport cost. Let we see the steps to be followed to get good result.
- Be prepared with potting mix when you place the order in online. Composition of potting mix link enclosed in the first segment of this post.
- Open the parcel carefully without damaging the packed plants
- Sprinkle the water on the plants after opening it and keep it under shade.
- Avoid to keep the plants under direct sunlight or under fan.
- Always re-pot early morning or late evening.
- If leaves or plant cuttings purchased, put those plant parts in water – cover the entire set up with polythene cover to give a polyhouse effect. Keep this set up under shade for 3-5 days to develop a roots. Then go for planting.
