✅ Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering in one of the following subjects:
  • Forestry | Botany | Zoology | Physics | Chemistry | Mathematics
  • Statistics | Geology | Agriculture | Horticulture
  • Engineering (Agricultural, Civil, Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical)
  • Computer Applications/Science | Environmental Science | Veterinary Science

(Degree must be from a UGC-recognized university.)

2. Age Limit (As of 01.07.2025)

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age:
  • General: 32 years
  • SC/ST/MBC/BC/EWS: 37 years (Age relaxation as per TN Govt rules)

3. Physical & Medical Standards (For ACF)

• Height: 163 cm (Men) / 150 cm (Women)
• Chest (Men): 84 cm (with 5 cm expansion)
• Vision & Fitness: As per TN Forest Service norms.

Preliminary Exam (300 Marks)

• General Studies (175 Qs) + Aptitude (25 Qs)

• Negative Marking: ⅓ penalty for wrong answers

Main Exam (750 Marks)

• Paper-I: Tamil/English (Qualifying)
• Paper-II: General Studies (Essay, Current Affairs)
• Paper-III: Optional Subject (Forestry/Related Field)
