Steps to Grow Sacred Lotus @ Terrace Garden

Lotus is our national flower. (India)

Lotus can be grown from seeds or from tubers. But, lotus grown from seeds, will not flower in their first year.

Lotus seeds will starts it’s germination after 7 – 10 days

Lotus pond requires proper sun light (Minimum 5 hours per day)

Cement / plastic ponds can be used.

Change the half of pond water once in a fortnight.

Instead of 1 litre container, can plant directly in pond. It will boost up the root production and blooming.
